Danielle was first introduced to the Pilates method in 2006 and committed to a regular practice during her career as an accountant in the financial services industry. Having suffered from neck pain, back spasms, carpal tunnel, and other overuse injuries, she first sought out Pilates for its therapeutic benefits. Not only did her posture improve with a consistent practice, but it also helped resolve her repetitive stress injuries instead of normalizing them into her daily life.

What she loves about Pilates is the ability to transition the exercises and principles into her daily life. It has helped her improve her athletic endurance, find a better connection with her breath, and achieve personal bests in her long-distance running. She is a 15-time marathon finisher and credits her Pilates practice for remaining injury free.

Her personal practice informed her desire to seek her Pilates certification and her decision to leave her corporate career. Wanting to deepen her personal practice and seeking a meaningful career change, Danielle received her 600+ hour comprehensive certification through Erika Bloom Pilates Plus. She received additional training in Clinical Mat and Reformer (Universal Practice), Restorative Yoga (Bhakti Center), Mat Pilates (Equinox), Short-Form Yoga Nidra (Prema Yoga Institute), Anatomy Trains in Motion (Academy for Slings Myofascial Training), Core Align 1 & 2 (Balanced Body), and is CPR/AED certified.

Her continuing education includes studies in scoliosis, pre/post-natal, biomechanics, pelvic floor, body reading with Tom Myers, FAMI (Mount Sinai/Kinected), and a variety of other topics essential for addressing her clients’ needs.

Danielle credits Pilates to helping her stay present and achieve mind-body awareness in her own personal practice and in life. No matter what experience level or goals her clients may have, she strives to help her clients feel more aligned, challenged, and empowered through mindful and conscious movement.
